School energy management systems. EnTouch Helps Educators “Wrangle” Lower Energy Costs

school energy management systemsRising energy costs are impacting higher education, which is why the interest was high at our booth at the recent Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Louisiana (TOAL) regional meeting of the National Association of Educational Procurement.

The theme of the meeting was “Wrangle Some Savings,” and a good place to start is with energy costs and EnTouch school energy management systems.  According to Energy Star, higher education institutions spend nearly $14 billion annually for energy.  The agency provides tips to help schools cut their energy usage, and the first tip is “measure and track energy performance.”

EnTouch school energy management systems do just that, which explains what drew the procurement professionals to our booth. Having Internet-connected HVAC and lighting controls, as well as a full range of cost-effective professional services put the goal of cutting energy costs within reach.

EnTouch was proud to be part of this program and this show reinforced the continuous need for products and services that reduce energy so that colleges and universities can dedicate more of their budget to learning.
